(SW® — 03) Diagnosis

Front-end fails when…

  1. 01

The site does not look like the design.

Spacing, fonts, button states: small things that stop the design from being yours.

  2. 02

Everything falls apart on a phone.

The layout was drawn for a monitor, while customers arrive on phones, tablets and wide screens.

  3. 03

The page takes forever to load.

Heavy images and extra code. Visitors wait, search rankings drop, ad money is wasted.

  4. 04

The designer and the developer do not understand each other.

Endless revisions, slipping deadlines and a result that looks nothing like the idea.

Front-end is not “moving a picture into code”. It is where a design either lives or dies.

001. Step

Design review

We look at the Figma file before starting: components, states and responsive versions.

  • Components and states of interactive elements
  • Whether mobile and tablet versions exist
  • A list of questions for the design, raised up front

You getA clear build plan and an estimate without surprises.

002. Step

Components and design tokens

We pull colours, typography and repeated elements out into components.

  • Colours and typography as variables
  • Repeated blocks as components
  • A single grid and spacing

You getA foundation that is easy to extend with new pages.

003. Step

Responsive build

We build from the mobile screen first, then scale up to tablet and desktop.

  • Mobile-first
  • Tablets and wide monitors
  • Different browsers

You getPages that look equally good on any screen.

004. Step

Animation and interactivity

We add considered animation and states without sacrificing speed.

  • States of buttons, forms and menus
  • Entrance and transition animation
  • No unnecessary scripts

You getA lively interface that does not lag.

005. Step

Speed and clean code

We optimise images and code for Core Web Vitals.

  • WebP images
  • Clean code with no excess
  • Aiming at Core Web Vitals

You getA fast site that both people and search engines like.

006. Step

Checking, integration and handover

We check the build against the design, connect a CMS if needed and hand the code over to you.

  • A check against the design
  • Integration into a CMS or platform if needed
  • Handover of the code and an orderly project

You getA finished site that looks like the design.

What the companies we have worked with have to say.

All reviews

We sold dancewear through Instagram and were drowning in DM orders. The team built a store where the customer picks size and colour themselves, and orders finally stopped getting lost. Worth adding: we have run the catalogue ourselves ever since, without coming back for small changes.

(SW® — 10) FAQ

Questions about front-end

001. I have a design in Figma. Will it work?

Yes, Figma is our main format. Before starting we review the file: components, states, responsive versions. If something is missing, we tell you in advance.

002. How much does front-end cost?

Hourly work from $25/hour. We name the exact sum after reviewing the design, once the number of pages and the complexity are visible.

003. What do you build with?

HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, and when needed React, Vue 3, Next.js or Astro. We choose the stack to fit the task.

004. Do you integrate the front-end into a CMS?

Yes. WordPress, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify or another platform: we integrate to fit the task and set up a convenient admin.

005. Do you work with agencies and designers?

Yes. We gladly take front-end work as a technical partner: we hold deadlines, quality and your accountability to the client.

006. Why not generate the front-end with AI?

AI quickly produces a template that resembles the design, but it usually does not hold spacing, responsiveness, accessibility and speed, and all of that has to be fixed by hand. We use AI as a tool, and we answer for the result ourselves.
