YKDS
A personal website for a UK kitchen designer
A landing page that sells a direct relationship with a designer rather than a furniture catalogue.

About the project
YKDS is the website of Yuriy Karpenko, a kitchen designer working in the UK. The centre of the project is not a product range but the designer, his approach and the promise of creating one kitchen around one client.
What we built
- a visual direction for the personal brand;
- an opening built around a clear proposition;
- a process and portfolio story without overload;
- a consistent path towards consultation;
- a responsive experience for mobile visitors.
The character
The website does not try to be large. It leaves enough space for visitors to see the quality of the work, understand the designer’s approach and start a conversation about their own space.
(SW® — The brief)
YKDS needed a website that could communicate a personal design approach: away from showroom noise and focused on trust, taste and one specific kitchen.
(SW® — What we did)
We built a calm, premium landing page with generous visual pauses, a clear service story, portfolio work and a direct route to contact. The site speaks in the language of personal service rather than a mass catalogue.
(SW® — Task)
- Build a premium position without showroom clichés
- Show the process and portfolio clearly
- Lead visitors towards a personal consultation
(SW® — Competencies)
- Art direction
- UX/UI design
- Frontend development
- Portfolio presentation
- Responsive design
